Welcome to PeerTupeer. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PeerTupeer services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into these terms, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Platform Description

PeerTupeer is a gift card trading platform that allows users to sell gift cards in exchange for Ghanaian Cedis (GHS). We act as an intermediary and do not guarantee the value of any gift card submitted.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Trading Rules

• All gift cards submitted must be legitimate and unused (unless otherwise specified).
• You must be the rightful owner of any gift card you submit.
• Submitting stolen, fraudulent, or counterfeit gift cards is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination and legal action.
• Duplicate image submissions will be flagged and may result in trade rejection.
• We reserve the right to reject any trade at our discretion.

5. Fees and Payouts

A platform fee of 2.5% is deducted from all trade payouts. A flat fee of GHS 5.00 applies to each withdrawal request. Rates are subject to change without notice.

6. Wallet and Withdrawals

Funds in your wallet are held in trust. Minimum withdrawal is GHS 50.00. We process withdrawals within 24 hours on business days. We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors.

7. Prohibited Activities

• Money laundering or any illegal financial activities
• Submitting fraudulent or stolen gift cards
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Attempting to manipulate or exploit the platform
• Harassing or threatening our staff or other users

8. Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to the platform or other users. Suspended accounts may have their wallet balances frozen pending investigation.

9. Limitation of Liability

PeerTupeer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding trades should be submitted through our dispute system within 7 days of the trade completion or rejection. We will review all disputes fairly and our decision shall be final.

11. Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform announcements.
